ARYZTA are seeking to appoint a Key Account Executive to join their National Accounts Team. The sucessful candidate will have an entrepreneurial flare for sales, thrive with challenge, work independently, while harnessing a collaborative team ethos. They will have a successful track record of commercial partnership and sales processes, and will understand how to communicate and sell within a fast paced, dynamic business.  A history of working with Own Label and Branded products for the supermarket segment is key.


The Role

  • Working closely with the Head of Grocery Sales and other internal stakeholders, responsibility for management of designated customer base including customer relationships, account administration, forecasting, new product introductions, promotions, pricing, and day-today customer account management. 
  • Maintaining business rhythm through ensuring all commercial targets are consistently achieved, retention of existing customers and acquisition of new customers as a constant in the daily trajectory of the business. 
  • The appointee will be highly target-driven, customer centric, and resilient. Supporting the growth strategy, sustainability, process, change and transformation across all lines of business within thus maintaining continued growth for all markets and customers- but not limited to either. 
  • ARYZTA Bakeries are looking for a strong cultural, commercial and people fit in what is a very agile, fast paced ethos in a dynamic, customer centric, service business. 
  • The appointee will have an innate commercial mindset with exceptional influential and engaging people skills. They will champion and drive the Key Customer Account agenda, working with an advanced and already well-established capable team.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Key contact for day-to-day enquiries (internal & external) and proactively working with the cross functional teams to remedy any issues that may arise 
  • Build a strong working relationship with customers including buyers, supply chain & store operations 
  • Commercial & product presentations to the customer when required 
  • Support store execution of all ARYZTA product ranges 
  • Liaise with key store operation colleagues on product & brand performance, delivering feedback on how best placed Aryzta products are positioned in-store 
  • Build comprehensive product knowledge of ARYZTA & competitors across the ISB markets 
  • Full ongoing analysis of customers performance utilising both ARYZTA & customer data 
  • Provide accurate & timely sales forecasts and analysis to the business across all customers 
  • Full responsibility for accurate account administration conducted in a timely fashion 



  • Previous experience in Account Management in the food or FMCG industries essential.
  • A high level of customer focus and exceptional relationship building skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills with the ability to communicate strategies at all levels 
  • Strong commercial awareness and market knowledge - exposure to the range of Irish supermarkets essential, ideally working with Irish customers
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with demonstrated ability to make commercial recommendations from data 
  • Outstanding collaborative approach, providing positive and enthusiastic interactions with colleagues and customers 
  • Proficient in MS Office including powerpoint and excel
  • Experience working with SAP desireable.
