Supply Chain Manager

We  currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-driven and talented Supply Chain Manager to join our team based in Grange Castle, Clondalkin at a time of growth and opportunities. 

 

The Role:


Reporting to the Head of Logistics, the Supply Chain Manager will be integral to our business success, responsible for developing and implementing supply chain strategies, streamlining the supply chain process, bringing innovation and ensuring quality, whilst effectively mitigating supply risks. With a continuous improvement mind-set, commercial acumen, collaborative style, end to end supply chain proficiency, you are committed to your customers, willing to go the extra mile and are always acting as a true partner and trusted advisor.


Main Responsibilities:
In this dynamic role you will have responsibility of the supply to our customers, stock control within the Warehouse, as well as leading the supply chain team to ensure adequate stock levels available.


     Supply Chain:

  • Monitor, enhance and streamline the supply chain process
  • Planning customer orders to various destinations;
  • Liaising with production planning to ensure stock forecasts are produced;
  • Monitoring stock levels vs. forecast;
  • Stock management for 3rd party locations;

 

     Stock Control: 

  • Physical stock control within the Warehouse;
  • BBD weekly/monthly reporting;
  • Annual stocktakes;
  • Reporting of stock variances;

 

    Inventory Planning:

  • Improve inventory processes & demand forecasting based on process knowledge, analysis, and feedback
  • Ensure BIFG is adequate to meet the demand of suppliers;
  • Liaising with sales regarding sales forecasts;
  • Communication with Haulier and Suppliers;
  • Manager of direct deliveries to customers.

 

Skills & Qualifications required:

  • Solid experience in supply chain and business improvement - ideally within FMCG manufacturing/ large scale warehouse environment;
  • Solid leadership and people management experience;
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to build cross-functional relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Ability to work under own initiative in a high speed environment;
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to problem-solve effectively;
  • High level of computer literacy, with sound software capability (Microsoft Office; SAP working knowledge will be advantageous) ;
  • Understanding of OH&S requirements;
  • Demonstrated prioritisation and organisational skills.
