IT Manager
Reports to: Finance Director, ARYZTA Ireland and dotted line to the Chief Information Officer
Region: Ireland
Location: Grangecastle Business Park, Clondalkin, Dublin 22
Overall Purpose of the Role:
Efficient management of the Grangecastle site in respect of ICT requirements and the related IT team in line with the local and corporate objectives as well as the Group IT strategy.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the operation and further development of the location specific required hardware components provided by the Group: Host, server, network, peripheral devices, workstation systems, mobile devices, cloud (IaaS).
- Responsible for the operation and further development of the location specific and for the site necessary software components provided by the Group: Operating, communication, database and application software, cloud (SaaS).
- Responsible for the operation of the decentralized location specific systems and the location Service Desk.
- Accountable for IT customer satisfaction within locations within responsibility (target > 80%).
- Location Configuration/Change Management and its processes in the ICT operations environment based on the group-wide ITIL process standards.
- Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA) to management of the location.
- The integration of services in the area of ICT operations from internal and external service providers required to operate the location.
- Ensuring IT security and data protection vis-à-vis the local management in accordance with Aryzta IT Security standards/policies, local and national regulations and in coordination with the Head of IT Security.
- Responsible for the integration and alignment of the local business strategy with the Group ICT strategy.
- Ensure smooth requisitioning, planning, coordinating, implementing and ensuring delivery of IT services from Group IT.
- Responsible for the completeness and ensuring the location IT Asset Register is kept up to date.
- Responsible for the further development of the location IT architecture in cooperation with Group IT and following the Aryzta IT strategy.
- Lead the procurement of location specific external IT services in compliance with group standards/policies.
- Responsible for compliance with ICT governance, IT processes and methodologies in collaboration with the Group CIO.
- Ensuring cooperation and optimal coordination with other internal and external departments and interfaces to the location business services and departments.
- Management and further development of the location ICT department and organization including technical and personnel management.
- Budget and cost responsibility of the entire location IT activities, services and requirements.
- Responsible for backup and disaster recovery of location ICT systems.
- Management and control of ICT - location projects.
- Tracking current trends and developments and driving technical innovations forward.
- Coaching of the departments in strategic ICT issues

The ideal candidate will poses:
- In-depth knowledge of current information and communication technology including Windows, networking, collaboration platforms etc.
- Solid experience in project and process management.
- Solid experience in a management position - excellent communicator, both written, verbal and presenting; ability to communicate with diplomacy and manage difficult conversations;
- Higher education in Information Technology (HF/FH/ETH/Diploma)
- Ability to think strategically & execute tactically;
- Adherence to and implementation of the corporate principles
- Responsibility and ownership of the local team budget.
- Possess the ability to work on your own initiative while been a team player.
- Can communicate ICT content and topics within the IT community and business in a level-appropriate way.
