The Role:
A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our team in Grange Castle distribution office as Supply Chain Planning Administrator for a 12 months maternity cover. 
In this varied role you will process and create orders for selected customer accounts, organise orders transport, provide customer support, liaise with our customs agents and generate customs paperwork required for successful delivery to the UK post Brexit. 

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Order processing using SAP. Ensuring all new orders are received and entered into the system in an accurate and timely manner
  • First point of contact for customers regarding any order matters to include invoices, order reports, delivery delays, back orders
  • Liaising with shipping companies regarding all collections, loadings / deliveries for customers and booking in of deliveries.
  • Stock Management: Communicating to Customers on End of line items to run out stocks, part pallets requiring sale to maintain stock rotation and dated stock issues.
  • Creating customs paperwork for all loads leaving Ireland for delivery to the UK
  • Liaising with customs agents to ensure all relevant paperwork has been completed in full and on time. Managing any customs issues that may arise.
  • Covering other customer accounts and tasks during team annual leave and absences. Any ad hoc duties to be covered when and if required. 

 

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Previous office experience in supply chain, general administration or customer service role
  • Keen attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines is essential
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft office, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • SAP experience will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
  • Knowledge and familiarity of customs procedures to the UK would be an advantage 
  • Leaving cert standard, or third level qualification desirable.
